Try to determine which dealer has the car you want- if you go directly to them you may get a better deal.

Also, ask about the "Ambassador Program". Supposedly employee pricing on C's. Two dealerships told me they didn't offer it and when I got ready to walk both lowered payments about $50 per month.

A friend got the best deal- base luxury, $1400 upfront including first month, 12,000 miles per year, $369/month plus tax, 36 months.

I got a 2010 Sport Black over Almond with P1, Burl Walnut, Rear Camera and MM, and as part of the deal they swapped over 18in AMG wheels for me from another car in stock for a flat cost of $250. Sticker was $43,695 (plus the wheels), price paid was $39,800.

I got the base MF (.00069) and the residual was 57% for 36/12K IIRC

With cap cost reduction of $3100 my payment is $403 including tax. Take the cap cost out and it would've been around $490. Pretty killer deal if you ask me.

Nice! I think our deals are nearly identical. Your sticker price is slightly higher and money factor higher but I'm doing 15K/year 55% residual. I'm not fronting any cash for cap cost reduction so excluding that, I'm paying about $20/month more.

Purchased brand spanking new, $29,996. Options included are metallic paint (dark gray or steel gray or whatever) and iPod integration. Freight included in price as is a full tank of gas and some hokey first aid kit. Dealer fee (paper work??) $249 and NH title fee not included. List was over $35K.

Did you get the extended warranty from MB or a third party company? The MB extended warranty is usually 7 years and 100,000 miles.

From a third party company that the dealer offered. I purchased a similar package from the same company before and they've been great. The MB branded one was $5300 which I thought was crazy (or a testimony to the reliability?).

Are the California dealers really offering such bigger discounts on '10 C300's? A California dealer is offering me $5k below invoice for purchase of a new 2010 C300, RWD, P1, iPod, and Pano. I'm not even in Cali and this may be the cheapest offer even with the transport costs this would cause me.

You got it right.. That's the usual discount you can get.. Between 10 to 12.5% depending on the dealer.. You can pm if you want a no hassle buying, I closed the deal over the phone..
