Folding Mirror maybe

Everything perfect, except I heard a running on noise of one mirror I think after parking away a couple of times..Think I wait till it brakes, easier for dealer to diagnose. I actually mentioned to the salemen on purcharge I don't think these mirror motors are going to smoke it, only cheap sounding component noticed.

E 300 AMG-Line diesel-Hybrid - 2021
After 1 day of owing it, a warning light
came on advising a problem with the seatbelts "Emergency tensioning device"
saem was fixed.

Now need to make a new appointment for

- auto gearbox not shifting smoothly when driving at speeds below 60kms.

- wipers/rainsensors working very erratically + no difference between
position 1 (operation with low sensitivity) & 2 (high)

- left wiper (ball bearing?) making a squeeking noise

- wind noise left rear window

- loose dashboard panel which vibrates
(the bottom part of the hood which hangs above the display.)

when i pulled back it popped the bumper out of one of the clips and left some deep scratches in the plastic on the underside... it is only visible if you lay on the ground and loook under, and I was able to pop the bumper back in the one clip it popped out of, so everything is fine, but it just pisses me off that mercedes would make it so low in a stock configuration as to where it wont even get over the parking blocks of standard size... if this is the case they should at least warn you
I've ripped the bumper off my 2000 Jetta multiple times because of this. It's highly frustrating and annoying to say the least.

Had my first "Oh $h!t" momment yesterday at the gym. I didn't hear anything pulling in but heard/felt the scraping when backing out. The paint is scraped but like others have noted, it is only noticeable from below. Guess I will have to change my habit of pulling as far forward as possible...I have always done this to avoid someone swinging into while backing out. Good thing the C is pretty short.

This could just be the result of my lack of knowledge on cars, but I think I may have an issue. I recently switched to "C" from "S" (after figuring out how to, haha) since I'm at 600 miles and I wanted to take it easy until 1,000.

My drive to work is only 10 miles, so I always have my center view on the one with the trip data, and one is the miles per gallon. I try to get it as high as I can, so I will accelerate to about 50 or 60 then let go and coast to get it higher.

However, I've noticed that when I do that, it slows down really fast (almost like I'm breaking, even though I'm not). Is that normal? Is that something with the car downshifting? It doesn't seem to coast very well, I can feel it slowing much harder than expected. Any thoughts?

Your expectations are wrong! Honestly the car is supposed to apply engine braking like a manual car would do when you lift the gas pedal.

If you wanted to keep steady speed, keep the pedal pressed accordingly (or cruise). Only old fashioned auto trannies do not allow engine braking. Note that this also does allow you to save fuel on a downhill road, fuel injection is cut while another tranny would put the engine idling.

To save fuel, you are supposed to accelerate well (not full gas but a good deal) and then keep the speed steady if the traffic allows. This gives the best average engine efficiency.

Does anyone know how much engine "braking" is required before the fuel flow is shut off? It is my understanding that gentle engine braking is not enough cut the idle flow. I assume this is to ensure there is no stumbling when the car is in the gray area between idle and engine braking.

its been a year and 3mo now:
1. headlights would go out for no reason and then flicker back on
2. Mirrors would squeak and opening and closing (was told that that was normal by dealer) took back various times to get "oiled"
3. eversince i took delivery, motor shakes in the morning with a ticking sound (was told that was normal by dealer) have left a numerous of days and they found no problem..weird
4. navscreen would shut off and go blank from time to time.. dealer fixed
5. tire pressure monitor system would always go off with false reading. dealer fixed
my wife and i have had a very tought time with this car.. at one point we even try selling it, but due to MB fearce devaluation, we would have ended up losing money..
we dont think we will ever buy a MB again..
although we are keeping this one and hoping for the best in the future

ISPEEDM3, did the dealer say what had to be done to fix the Nav screen issue you experienced? This happened to me once a couple of weeks ago while I was driving on the freeway. The screen started to flicker and would go out for roughly a second at a time. I opened and closed the Nav unit 3-4 times and it stopped doing it. I'm going to mention this to them when it's time for service A and it would be great if I knew what they did to yours.

Around 8K miles on her now
When I first got the car at around 1K miles, the sunroof was having issues not closing properly and stalling. Dealer replaced module and said it was fixed. 2 days later it came back.

They reprogrammed per a bulletin and it's working properly now.

Small noise coming from drivers side pillar. Probably from the tint I got. - Took cover off and saw some tape that was shoved off. Moved and no issues

I have the low AUX input volume issue. Are the dealers fixing this issue for free or will I have to pay for the amplifier module?

Other than that, the car has been fine. Still miss my BMW handling and road feel from the steering wheel

Thanks. I recently got my 09 C350 back after taking it in for a consistent squeak coming from the shelf behind the rear roller shade as well as a resonating/vibrating sound coming from the driver side seat belt housing. They took each area apart and installed felt then re-tightened everything, so far so good.

My sister did the same with a 2002 Jetta. She blamed the car. German engineers of course believe it's up to the driver to adapt to the car.

On the C204, I see many owners reporting minor repairs in this thread, but TrueDelta's survey results so far indicate an average repair rate. So the number of posts in this thread probably justs indicates that this is an active forum, and there are also many owners who have had no problems.

Yeah, well, not many people come to post on a "problems board" who haven't had problems....

We're currently at 13k miles, and 18 months, with nothing to report. NOTHING. I've owned 53 cars since 1962, [including 15 Mercedes], and this is a first.

Blower stoped working on the coldest day this winter. I had to wait a week and a half for a new one to come from Germany. Strange thing though is it started working after it warmed up in the AD's shop. Also my check washer fluid light will not go off and the sensor has been replaced once already. worked good for a week.

when i get into my car... the steering wheel is not in the location is should be... i have to press preset [1] to get it to move...

the passenger window doesn't got up automatically... i have to hold the window up button... and also when it does go up... it sometimes automatically comes back down an inch or so.

Above stated problem happened to me. Screen started to flicker white 3 weeks ago and was an intermittent problem. This past weekend the screen turned almost all white; took it into the dealer and they are having a new screen shipped in after Mercedes-Corporate "authorized" its replacement. Service summary stated they did a software flash and checked all of the electrical wiring before narrowing it down to a faulty screen.
