A little heat, dental floss. Then I rubbed the rest of the adhesive off with my fingers. Got too blisters out of it.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Heat the badge with a hairdryer (or let it sit in the sun for a little while), slip a length of dental floss under the badge and pull across gently.
Use Goof Off or other adhesive remover on a microfiber cloth and rub the residual adhesive/tape off. Once all the adhesive is removed, wipe area with rubbing alcohol and buff the area with wax to protect.
I've done this to all my cars. Looks clean and sleek, and makes waxing and polishing your car less troublesome -- I hate getting wax into the crevaces in the badges.
Good Luck!
