Yea take that AMG emblem off for sure. There have been many many arguements on this site as to why it doesnt belong on a non-AMG car. Aside from all those arguements, they dont even put that badge on the front quarter panel on the real ones...

I see so many AMG badges thrown onto all kinds of benzes..
everytime i see them and they are not real AMGs (btw, not hard at all to tell the difference) , I tend to laugh and think to myself taht personn is a loser.

I dont mean to offend anyone, but it really bothers me..

my friend just leased an 07 e350 sport.. he goes and replaces the 3 with a 5 so it reads: "E550"... i told him hes an idiot, but what do you expect from an ex-infiniti owner.

** think of it this way... your false advertising. Say you asked out a good looking girl because you felt she had VERY LARGE BREASTS. How would you feel about her when underneath her bra was a bunch of tissues covering her puny A cups...
your basically "stuffing your bra" right now..

p.s. my girlfriends has Acups.. and i love those lil guys.. no offense to you ladies.. just trying to get the point across.

it's her breasts. she can do whatever she wants. unless you're in a position
to lick her nipples or give her globes a massage, leave it be. same for the car.
unless you're going to buy it and it directly affects you, leave it be. the owner
is happy with the accouterments.

It doesn't make much sense to me to do that either, but it isn't my car. Each should be happy with their own car so go for it if you want to do it.

agree on ditch the amg badge
I dunno about the if you got nothign nice to say, don't say it. With that attitude mussolini might still be in power and Nixon not have resgined. We have a duty to call it like we see it, if you don't have thick enough skin there's always the option of not participating in life.

But, there is more polite way to say it. And that is that you can whatever badge you like on your ride, it is your prergoative. But, I'll simply offer the free advise that in my opinon it makes you look like a major poseur, since it is not an AMG, and nowheres near close. If that's okay with you, and you can live with it, fine. But I for one would laugh at you every time I see it. And then if I met you in person I'd start checking your inside clothing labels to see if you stiched a Lacoste alligator on a Kmart -Arizone Jeans brand polo shirt!

sweet an AMG badge on a 15 sec car! 8000k Hid's?! you know you basically downgraded the light output over stock.

This is what happens when former civic owners start to make a lil money.

Hey, I wouldn't put the AMG logo myself on my car, but it looks good on yours. I mean, physically, to me, it looks very nice on yours. Obviously it's not true, but if you enjoy it on there, cool.

Glad you enjoy the headlights. I have P2, so I got the factory ones, but I'd rather have the MM like you. I really wish I had that. ha-ha.

someone should lock/delete this thread..all the insulting posts made to him has made him leave this forum for good..

something to think about..

Is it REALLY that big of a deal if someone wants to "pretend" that their car is something that it really isn't??????

Very nice both the hid lights and the badge.

Dont pay any attention to the bad critisism they are kids that are jealous of the amg pack they dont have on their cars and everytime they see one they get crazy.
The next thing they will ask you to do is take off your rims ,your carpets, your body kit, because they are from amg.
Let them grow up and keep the mods coming

I'm not a kid. My car has the same AMG parts, kits, and a few extras that are in the 350. My car, like many others, has component parts from AMG. My car also has component parts from Michelin, Harmon Kardon and probably about 200 other manufacturers, yet I don't tell anyone that it is a "insert manufacurer of choice here" car.

My car was not built by AMG, therefore it is not an AMG by any stretch of the imagination. Easiest way to check is open the hood and look for the AMG plaque...not there. AMG builds their own cars, they are not made in the MB factory like any of the other C's.

Kase has a nice car and he can put whatever he wants on it, including an AMG emblem. He drives a Mercedes Benz and that name alone should be enough. He likes it better with the emblem on it, I think it is poser-ish. It is his car and he shouldn't care what I think.

To each his own, just understand that those in the know will form a different opinion about the car, especially those that actually do have a car built by AMG.

Kase, your car is very nice.

+1

I think the badge police are on a jihad on this site. They must of found a way to be alerted any time one uses the word AMG or badge in a post.

Besides, the more silly other people look, the better the rest of us look...

Sweet ride Kase! Can't wait for mine to get stateside...

Don't know about everyone else, but I have the MB chip implanted in my head that alerts me....

For the record, again, to each his own and the car is very nice with or without the badge. But you can't put something like that on there and not expect it to cause a reaction from certain groups of people, particularly those that might be considered an MB enthusiast, such as many members of this forum.

Just grow a thicker skin and don't let it bother you if other MB owners (particularly AMG owners) give you weird looks on the street. And don't be shocked if a picture of your car ends up on one of their Poser Threads.

Poser Threads are the best. Some of the things people do to their cars are just hilarious.
