The C300 4matic sport edition is limited to 2 interior colors: Black or Grey. What do you think is the better choice for a C300 in a white exterior colour?

It's definitely personal choice but I ordered a white 350 with the grey/black interior. I liked the elegance of the contrasting black and grey throughout the interior, particularly the black headliner and bird's eye maple. On the 3-series, there are two interiors with contrasting colors(cream/black or reddish-brown/black) but both come with grey headliners! The all black interior of the C is too drab for me.

Hey Joe ...

I thought of you last night as I was reading my C Brochure (every night befroe bed!!! )

But I digress, the grey/black interior is HOT!!! I saw an awesome pic in the brochure with the Birds Eye Maple, that's the way to go.

BTW, I'm thinking of going Obsidian Black now :S ... have to make up my mind!

Well I prefer the beige interior with the white exterior, but its only available in the 300 Lux. So I went with Grey interior because it is lighter in color. Most things black don't do too well in the Texas sun.

Black is sweet! I had a black car but I found it too time consuming to keep clean!

I need to make up my mind and I'm torn between the two colours! I wish they had beige!

Good luck on Saturday when you put together the deal - I'm glad I could help out!

On another note, do I read right that you were able to get the Black birdseye maple in your 300 Lux? I had thought that was available only in the 350 with the Burl Walnut for the 300 Lux?

If so, congrats. That is a very nice look...I look forward to mine as well.

In Canada we get that as N/C option with Sport Package on 300... kinda cool for sure. The demo I drove had it, and it certainly cut down on the not so nice silver trim.

Yeah, I hear ya ...my RDX is black, and it just never stays clean ... and drive-thru does not help ...leaves a white film ..so it's hadn wash whenever I can.

Wonder if MB dealerships have a car wash program? A buddy of mine has a BMW and his dealer (Budd's I think) washes his car every Saturday for free!!!

That would be some great way to show customer appreciation! But it may be dependent on the dealership!

I enjoy washing my car in the summer but it's not so great in the winter

Well another good reason to be Canadian then....

I agree that black birdseye maple looks much nicer than the aluminum.

I'm very interested in this poll because I'm about to order also white c300 4matic with P1 package. I prefer grey but they are not available until mid Octover. I can get black interior within 2 weeks. I'm debating right now.

The gray actually looks 'cheaper'. I have several people that will agree with me on that, especially if you're going to get MB tex, I'd go with black interior.

i agree, i almost was going to go with the 2 tone grey/black until i saw some pics of that guys that posted of his white c300... definitely makes the plasticness of the interior stand out way more... looks much cheaper...

best way to go with non leather or with leather in the sport is ALL BLACK

Here's a great configurator. Click on the interior tab compare grey verse black! Aluminum verse Black Bird's Eye Maple.

Great! Thanks for the link.

After looking closely, yeah the grey looks cheap. But I still like the overall looks of grey/black two tone. It's still hard to decide! Poll also showing almost 50/50.

If it helps I voted Grey, but would have definately gotten black if I lived in Philly instead of Texas.

My decision was based solely on the summer heat factor where lighter color is better.

I have driven both and, contrary to my expectations, preferred the black one. My opinion might change with a different headliner -- the black one is a tad gloomy IMHO.

Yet to see a demo with Grey interior. I'm sure if it was seen in person it would look a lot better.

I was at my dealer yesterday afternoon and actually saw some 300 Lux's with the Black/Grey interior (MB-Tex). Looked good to me...
