Slow day so I'm trawling for some dialog ... yes, I know it's lame.
We've all voiced what we don't like about the W204, now's the time to gush about what you do like.
Me:
Exterior styling.
gauge cluster
auto shifter/7spd auto
pano roof
ride/handling compromise; my BMW went back to stock this weekend in anticipation of my C getting here in the next day or two ... MB definitely got this right compared to BMW on real world roads.
comfy seats.

+++ Steering feel, I feel like my wrist are a fixed to the tierods it’s that precise.
++ Perfect eye-point behind the wheel, very commanding and ergonomic.
+ This car has more troad grip than a hobo on a bag of chips, bottomless and predictable.
-Love the blunted nose, AMG aerodynamics.
-Love the ventilated g-box
-Love my 18”AMG wheels, this was the only way to have the car.
-The 7-speed is seamless in its operation and silky smooth.

+1.
Not that the Bimmer isn't a very nice car, there are just so many of them on the road around here it seems to have lost its exclusivity.
That'll probably happen with the new C as well in a few years, but by then I'll be looking at the new E or AMG...

I like:
- rear wheel drive
- the 3500cc/7 speed auto
In the right power-band all the time.
~2100 RPM @ 80MPH
- the side-to-side manual mode shifting.
A few words on this: I think it's great that there's no need to have to move the shifter from a fully-automatic position to one where it can be shifted "manually". This way, the manual shifts can be done instantaneously, without moving the shifter from auto mode position to "manual" mode position.
- the seating, visibility, access to main controls.
- the firmness of the seats - they're perfect.
Wish they had a bit more lateral support though.
- the computer display
(don't recall what it's called - the display for trip-meter, temp, digital speed, settings, etc). The ability to program certain feature, such as daylight running lights, fold-in mirrors, etc.
- the dial/joystick used to control the audio display.
Very intuitive and practical. I only wish it had a second, smaller dial stacked on top of the exiting one which could be used to adjust the volume. This way one can do all the audio work from the safe knob, no reason to move to yet another knob or the steering wheel to adjus the volume.
- the surgical precission of the steering wheel.
(i gotta comment on what I don't like about the steering wheel: it's not thik enough, it has a weird-feeling of concave shape where the grip is; maybe someone knows what I mean. Would also have liked a bit more resitance from center point)
- exterior styling - some of it, most of it, but not all.
I don't like the side mirrors - their size and chiseled shape are best suited on a tractor (my opinion). Also not thrilled about the rear bumper as it protrudes too far outward from the rear end... it's like a trampoline.
- the sunroof!
I'm impressed with this... at 80MPH with it wide opened, I would have expected a lot of wind noise and turbulance - but not much though!
- the 17" 6-spoke AMGs
They look very nice, they are AMG (?) and are - I guess - a very good compromise between performance and maintenance. I say that only to console myself because I didn't get the 18" 5-spoke
