My 18' AMG wheels
The 18 inchers I ordered for my C300 showed up this week. I am still fanning myself over the bill but let's face it, the C300 Lux NEEDS some other wheels. The big wheels may compensate a bit for the more modest bumpers of the Luxury.
I will be ordering the tires tomorrow from Tire Rack and with a bit of coordination and luck the car will be delivered with them on. The tire pressure sensors have to be transferred from the 17s to the 18s so the swap cannot be done before the car shows up, obviously.
Getting anxious, now.

There is only one which is the optional wheel on the Sport models for one grand. Not available on the Lux so I bought a set and not for $1000, sorry to say.

And I would have except for the mandatory black interior which killed it for me. When people complain about the cheap appearing interiors, it's the black they are talking about.
Had I had the opportunity to see a black leather interior, things might have been different. But, the first leather interior of any color coming to my dealer is my car, arriving at the port on Sunday.

18" AMG 5-Spoke wheels with summer performance tires are available as a facory installed option only on the C350 Sports for C$1,500.
Included this option in my order; certainly improves the looks of the car with the AMG body kit.

I disagree with that one, most complaints on the cheap interior are the aluminum and plastic trim on the doors and instrument panel, not the color.
Tan headliner definately is preferable to the black IMO, but only the headliner is black when you order the grey interior and that, with the black birdseye maple trim, looks very nice. I couldn't have ordered a car with an all black interior because it is just too hot.
color is a matter of personal preference and there are complaints about the lack of color options for the interior in the US, but that is the first cheap complaint based solely on the color.

There have been some complaints about the tin trim and quite a few about the look and feel of the dash top, the grain in particular. And a black headliner just makes it gloomier.
I shall see, since my car arrives at the port today. I hope this isn't the one they drop in the drink.

Nice choice in wheels, I have the same ones, but damn that is near brabus authentic prices. At that point I might have gone that route. Nevertheless, congrats on some sexy wheels.
