Add memory seats for US C class

All,
I know that US C-class doesn't have the memory seats options.
Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the parts from Canada/Germany to be install here in US?

If you are really intent on having the memory seats, I would find out the option code for the memory package for that car. Your dealer can then order the car and request the option be installed by writing it in on the order sheet.

I know the same is true for BMW cars (i remember a rear shade that could be special ordered like this) but I am not sure if MB will do that. To retrofit this option, you would need several thousand in parts since the seat motors have to replaced, new wiring to seat, door control module and door panel.

I did ask the salesperson on the possibility of ordering it from Canada, but he gave me the how strict US government regulation are and how it's going to void the MB warranties. At the end, he just said they can't do it.

Unallowed option codes

Not going to happen here. Tried that with "delete model ID" and MBUSA will not do it.

Would love that, but don't think MB does it. If so I'd order my 350 Sport with an all tan interior, memory seats, and keyless go.

Options? What options?

Until about four years ago MB would charge you a $1,000-1,500 fee to special order options that were not typically available. This fee covered special paint colors, interior colors/materials and various options. I believe that was a good option for buyers that wanted a very specific car and who were willing to pay a small fee to have their vehicle customized for their taste.

I will be surprised if we don't start seeing some of these features creep back into the car over the next 1-2 years. It was an interested decision to exclude these features that are available on all of the competitor's offerings.
