^please keep us informed. there's a handful of us who are without the p2 package, and interested in aftermarket HID kits.

Another update. Mtec makes mercedes specific HID kits. Installation is about an hour, and there are no check engine lights, codes, problems, etc. They will come with 2 year warranty.Originally Posted by Lakerz4sho

You can get the w204 kit there. They get it direct from Mtec. However, its $400 there. The guy I am speaking with is seeing if he can get them asap at a cheaper price.
For those who want to spend $50-75-100 more ^^ that website can have them to you within a week or so. If people want to order them from the guy I am speaking with (Should be $350 max) I will keep you all informed.
Hope this helps many of you.
If you guys are also looking to upgrade the foglight H11 bulbs I have a few options for you also! These leds burn very cool, and will give an HID look:

Go down to the second to last 1 for $114. They will appear like HIDs. THESE CAN ONLY BE USED FOR FOGLIGHTS!!
For a cheaper alternative check here:

I emailed him to verify they would work on a w204. He hasn't gotten back to me yet, but the automotiveusa guy said the IPF ($114) ones do work and work well, and I looked at the ebay link ones and they seem virtually identical, just much much cheaper. Awaiting his email back for confirmation.
Regards,
Mike

The bulbs are H7's for low and high, so wouldn't you look for an H7 application for HID's?

http://xenondepot.com/ Look for the H7 kit. I don't know of any company that sells brand or car specific kits?

if your car doesnt have factory xenons, you'll need to go to the dealership and get your car programed via computer to recongize the xenons or else you will get a headlight out message on your cluster.
i had the same problem, and only one company that i know who sells hid kits that won't give you any messages is the carlab kit from sonic motorsports
www.sonicms.net i think is the address

to the above, the mtec kits do NOT throw any messages. They are made specific for the specific model of mercedes.
These are not just some plug and play random h7 kit.. but w204 specific.

They actually installed and verified to not throw errors? The e90 mtech kits had some issues when they first came out, and they did throw errors. Kind of nasty ones too and dealers weren't all that excited about spending time clearing them either.

And what about the lamp-out module?

I have Apexcone HIDs on both my GL and E. They did not require a reprogram and work flawlessly. I've heard the DDM kits are also great (they have slim ballasts like the carlabs kit).

I would add that these cost about $150-175 with lifetime warranty. Originally Posted by Cal

+1
I was corresponding thru email with this guy Steve from www.xenondepot.com and he said the same thing.
My question is...
Do you install the kit first then go to the dealer to have the settings adjusted or the other way around?

^i was wondering about this too. what happens if you get the xenon=present code programmed in, but you are running halogens. will the halogens still light up until you can get the xenon kit installed?

I was looking at the IPF LED X Bulb which I consider to put in my foglamps. Does anyone know if there would be an error message after installing them since they are LEDs? Here is the link:
