Child Locks ?
Anyone know how to setup child locks on the rear doors ?
I don't see any mention in the manual. My 18 month old is already reaching out from his car seat and try to unlock the door.
thanks

MY13 C63 P30, K&N filters, V6 tune, secondary cats deleted.
Same as most cars, you open the rear door and press the latch upwards to activate and downwards to deactivate. (see page 76 of the owners Manual).

Child locks aren't on US cars like they are ROW cars. But if you set up selective locking/unlocking (process is in manual) on each key supposedly the rear doors will not open by once locked. Supposedly.
I've yet to sit back there to test it out.

If you have your locks set to lock after going above 15mph (which can be turned on or off through the center computer), then the rear doors won't unlock by just pulling on the handle. Driver has to hit the unlock button before the rear doors can be opened. This only works if you go above 15mph though, so if you get in and are going slow out of a drive way or parking lot, the doors can still be opened until the locking takes place. (This is the way my 06 ML works, but you should try it yourself to be 100%)

chilled was close.... All the doors will lock at 9mph on the W204. (Able to set this feature through your 'Settings' with the steering wheel). The back doors are child-lock standard, which means by pulling on the door handle, the doors will not open. The back doors will then only unlock after someone in the front has opened one of their doors (or pushed the unlock button). Now to make sure no one is trapped back there, you can physically pull the knob up on the back doors to unlock them, I guess you just have to hope the kids give-up after trying to open the doors with the handles.
