Requires Premium Fuel - think dealer filled it up???
Just took delivery of my wife's 300, and i know it requires premium gas. it came with a full tank, can i assume it was filled with premium??

I'm pretty sure it will come with 92+ premium unless that dealership is very shady. Most MB dealerships(as well as any Luxo brand) will take good care of you when you purchase a vehicle.

It will run on lower grades of gasoline, just not as effeciantly. If your experiencing pings as mentioned above, or loss of horsepower or mileage you can assume its the gas.

what if it didn't?
And, I'll add, what if it didn't? It'll still run, won't (shouldn't) detonate as long as running stock ecu program, and are you gonna take time out of your schedule to argue with the dealer over something you can't prove? Or, just drive it 300 miles or so and fill it up again.

Come on guys. Do you really think that the dealerships would be that desperate to save money? I guarantee that they will fill it with Premium.
