painted side marker worked well on other models (w203, 211, 208, 209, etc as they sit flush), but not in this case on the 204. since it's still gonna be tumor sticking out might as well have the clear that works. if you really want not to have the sidemarker might as well have the bodyshop fill and repaint the bumper. probably cost you around $400 instead of paying $150-200 just for the painted marker from the rape you store. If you really want them painted take it to your local bodyshop to get it painted for less than $60 probably.

Sorry I don't like the painted side markers. Just looks silly go for the clear or smoked ones on E-bay or get the smoked overlay, that way you are still legal.

These were taking a bit of time too. I e-mailed them and they responded saying it was taking time getting the paint to match correctly.
You might want to shoot them an e-mail.

Actually no they don't sit flush on other models. I have them on my W209 and its raised up. You just don't notice it as much because my car is black. I'm sure they are raised up on other models too. I believe Trez has them on his CLS63 and they are raised up as well. Sorry, but I had to debunk you there....the rest of your post was just your opinion so I won't say anything about that. You're entitled to that.

uh...my w203 side marker is flush with the trim except there's a gap around it. w211 sits flush and w208 sits flush.

but I stand corrected. 209 and 219 does have the sidemarker sticking out a little, but not nearly as bad as the 204 so when you get'em painted you don't really notice that they stick out.

The after thought cut-out and the nasty gap on the bottom of the side marker on the 204 makes it very ugly even when painted no matter what angle you look at it. it's an abnormal lump on the bumper. I don't usually like the clears, but it actually makes the "lump" look less obvious except to let people know there are lights there.
