The shark fin..
My mom's C350 w/ navi has a black shark fin on a white car. My 335i comes with a colored shark fin. Is there anyway to get a colored one for this car? 
It looks so ugly and chrysler like with the black sharkfin antenna on a white car. what gives?

cost cutting move. Cheaper to produce all black instead of painting each one... Pano roof is a nice solution. Ask your dealer though, and I am sure they can paint it for you.
I also wouldn't be surprised if in '09 they have them painted... Might be now just to get the out quicker.

Would have loved to have the pano, but not available on 300 in Canada and the 350 wait is like Feb or March!

This is just a result of MB being cheap....
was the same case when MB first offered sirius, nice black lump ony any color vehicle. They started to color match in 06 (i think). Unfortunate, especially on a white car.

2001 Mercedes Benz E55, 1998 Honda Civic EX
sirius stiletto install on an e55
I have a Sirius stiletto radio and bought the vehicle docking kit for it as well. Is there any easy way to install this myself on my 2001 AMG E55? I do have the antenna stub located above the back window, I was wondering if it is maybe Sirius ready and I can just plug and play with the kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated, having the 6disc changer in the trunk is annoying!

Hmm this is dumb then they should all match, I had heard a rumor that the reason they weren't all painted matching colors is because the supplier was having a hard time getting certain colors of paint to stick to them. But if they are plastic, that wouldn't make much sense as to why silver sticks and none of the others do lol.
