Strange sound when parked????
I have a C350 and after I've parked the car I occasionally notice a weird sound coming from the front end of the vehicle, even after it's been parked for two hours! It's kind of a "pssst" sound that occurs about every 15 seconds. Is this normal? Maybe some sort of pressure relief? I looked in the manual and didn't find any explanation. It isn't losing and fluids and the gauges indicate that everything is good.

nope this does not look normal. But i will check out mine as well next time for that kinda sound after parking it.

I'm hearing a very faint intermittent sound from within my C300 that I've not been able to track down. I haven't tried listening for it from the outside.
I was able to determine that the car doesn't have to be running to hear it.
I'll see if I can do some detective work today as I'm taking it in for its 1,000-3000 checkup tomorrow and would like it addressed if its an issue.

I only hear it when I'm outside of the car, and it's not every time. It sounds like it's coming from just below the emblem in the grill. I thought the 60's were catching up with me but my buddy heard it too.

My '01 C320 made this high pitched squeeeek from under the hood (at the same intervals you are experiencing) after shutdown for the entire 6.5 years I owned it. I only heard it in the garage because it's quiet in there.
It's undoubtedly the AC system and is entirely normal in my opinion
