seems like april or june actually works better for the 350 or the 350 4matic as they only come with all season performance....
4matic yeah, you might be able to get away with it, but on a RWD 350, forget it, the all season just didn't cut it...I don't know if the new C has the comfort mode (snow a.k.a. slow mode) and by end of dec, most benz dealers will be out of snow tires anyway, and you can argue that you DON"T need snow tires, but as everyone knows already, the cost is already worth it if you could avoid 1 accident, and you are talking about a brand new car....
so IMO, a spring / early summer delivery is actually better....

I just happen to visit my dealership on August 20.2007. He told me that he just received the information about the new C-Class. From the preliminary information that he had, we selected a C350 - Sport - 4Matic, Premium Package, Panorama roof, key-less go. He told me that the 18" wheel upgrade could delay my order and I stuck with the 17"AMG wheels. Since we had no colour charts, we stuck with the iridium silver and black interior.
I remember, he sat down on his computer and placed my order, turned around to me and said: "Done !!!"
I took delivery on October 25.2007.
Discounts are hard to come by and when you read the long waiting list you know why. $ 2,500.00 cash discount is a huge discount. Here most people get $ 500.00. I wouldn't be surprised, if even the $ 500.00 has disappeared. I can hear them: do you want one or not?

, waste me 3 months was got my car and i order early than u(Aug 10) , same with u 350 w4M Premium.package, only colour is different (White).But i got $2XXX discount too @ MB Markham, which dealer u got a car?

Ordered in early October and picked up the car on November 3rd.
They had a production slot open up, or someone cancelled their order, I don't know. I did not get to choose the colour (Calcite White) but I am not complaining.
Called them three days before delivery because of the recent on-slaught on discounts from the manufacturers and got an extra $1000 off (HQ rebate).

vcruiser from Montreal Quebec, got $ 3,500.00 discount. I think maybe $ 500.00 from Mercedes-Benz and $ 3,000.00 from the Federal Government. They always assist Quebecers.

The Quebec government is giving away money for people to buy German cars? I'd expect a subsidy on a Renault or a Citroen, but not an MB.

I ordered my C300 4matic on September 8th and it just arrived in Canada - The Halifax port to be exact. I'm waiting for it to be railed to Concord, ON and then to my dealer in Toronto. It should be approximately another 1-2 weeks before I take delivery!

My C's Keyless-go is really really smart , just touch outside handle was lock , very sensetive ,Panoramic roof is really cool, NAV is very fun when speak comand with her, Rear window sunshade is awesome & Quickpark is really help for my Parking , i really enjoy & fun on this month ,I LOVE MY C, Hope u guys enjoy ur W204 same as me!!^^

In GTA, all the MB dealerships are HQ-owned so there are strict limits as to the discounts the salespeople are allowed to give (PM me if you want to know). This is supposedly to create fairness across the dealerships... but in my opinion they are trying to maximize profit.
I had thought of going outside of GTA to get my car (i.e., Hamilton) but then their stock would not be as good either.

Spoke to my dealer today, and got my VIN!!!!!
She said it was on her invoice report, so apparently that means it's within days! I know she's pushing to get it for this week, which will be totally awesome since I was expecting a bit of a delay based on the dates I see posters talking about here.
My wife will have to enjoy it for me next week though, I'm in away for 3 days
ah well ...

As per my previous post I ordered my C50 MM from Maple MB and they would not offer me a discount. So many people from this thread were saying they got 2500 off from Markham MB.
I went to Markham MB and the guy said he cannot see how anyone there would give that much discount unless the car was a demo.
He said the most he could ever give would be 400-500 but even that was a special case.
I dont know what to do

For cash purchase customers... supposed to be equivalent to the savings from the "subsidized" finance/lease rates. The money comes from Mercedes-Benz Canada, so it does not affect the dealer's profitability.
If the dealer does not pass it onto you, leave the dealership immediately.
It was announced after I ordered my car, and I was able to get it applied to my deal retroactively. No shift off the dealership's back anyways, so they were happy to oblige.
