I just tried mine on my 08 E-550 the other day and it is very unimpressive. Don't think anyone could hear it if I needed to use it. Anyone know of a good aftermarket plug and play??

The soundproofing in the car masks the effect quite a lot.
Try standing in front of the car and let a friend or someone hoot, this will give you the true sound.
The C is comes with air-horns which is very loud, I hope its not exclusive to the UK spec. cars.
