Where I can odrer the "Avantgarde" Badge?
Anbody know where I can order the "Avantgarde" Badge in USA or Canada? I think the C-class will look better with this badge on. Any comment? Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing. I think that badge would look slick on the side of the car. Probably have to find someone in Europe to send us the badge here in the US... PM me if you ever find a place to buy one at.

The 300 comes with the STAR on the hood. The C350 Sports comes with the badge on the hood.
Looking at the car there can be no doubt the badge looks better, but sitting behind the wheel and looking over the hood, I love the STAR for "guidance". It just feels better.
I couldn't make up my mind, so the dealership gave me both. But I didn't get any gift certificates like our friend did.

Haha
You're joking? +1
Well, different strokes for different folks. Me, personally, I try to take as much off my car as possible, badgeless.
And, before I simply let it ride as being up to personal preference, I gotta ask if our cars can wear the avantgarde badge with honesty. What I mean is that in Europe (and maybe canada?) they have a sport package or option that is named (i think) avantgarde. You activate it by a button which is located in between the seat heater buttons (e.g., in the USA, that big slab of plastic expanse bwteen the two). So, if avantgarde is the name of the option and we don't have it, then it is kinda like those guys who put an "amg" badge on a non-amg car, or an "M" badge on a stock bmw. If you can wear it with honesty, then its up to personal choice. If you wear it without earning it, then I'll laugh at you. The guys over at mymbonline.com have a whole thread on "poser sightings" under their "sightings/spotted" forum, it is hillarious: http://www.mymbonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1172

Europe :
W202 = Classic - Elegance - Sport
W203 = Classic - Elegance - Avantgarde
W204 = Classic - Elegance - Avantgarde
And the Avantgarde AMG package offcourse
@ 430752 : Avantgarde isn't an option, i think the button what you mean is the sport agilaty control.

alright, if avantgarde is just the european way of saying sport (e.g.-avant or estate for a wagon), then have at putting that badge on your new w204, provided you bought the sport version.

The W204 Avantgarde models are called Sport in the US because they have the AMG sport package included.

I have an avantgarde (its only cosmetics interior and exterior and ride tuned) and AMG pack but you could also pick the sport suspension or the advance agility pack... so avantgarde its a sportier than elegance or classic models, but its not the sport model, its basically estetics, in and out, than you can get sport equipment.
