No Memory Seats!! Wait a second....
It was just a question, with a little bit of curiousity. I figured I would get some new insight instead of relying on what was said in the past.
Kind regards,
Stu
Just ignore the jerks on this forum. I run into them too. I would have given you a straight answer instead of telling you how to build a watch.
Anyway, welcome to the forums and enjoy the car. I am also puzzled by the same question(s) you have. I guess they (MB) have to keep some tricks up their sleeves for the upcoming models and refreshes.
We forgot about them. My wife actually backed her Lexus into somebody AND SHE HAD A REAR CAMERA!!!
She likes the MB nav better than the touch screen Lexus nav.
She never complains about not having keyless start. I think she is just amazed with the good looks and solid feel of the Benz. Who knows.
Those who think of the C Class as an "entry level" car are mainly in the US. In Europe it is just a different size Mercedes and you can get many options not offered to us in the US.
I switched from my 06 E350 to an 06 C350 the same day I test drove one. Yes, my C350 had those annoying SBC brakes but it also didn't handle anywhere as well as my C350.
I'm still anxiously waiting to buy a W204 but it must not be decocted with essential options.
I agree with you completely due to my personal experiences with E vs. C class cars. I want to like the E more than the C because of its size and features but everytime I drive one, I am let down. I bought one in 2002 and the road tracking stability was awful. I had to continuously counter steer to keep the car going straight. When I went to Germany, my friend and I rented a C class and we could go as fast as we wanted to and that car was rock solid at any speed but later we switched to an E class thinking it should be better . Nope. It struggled to cut through the wind making it difficult to reach 130 mph and , again, just like my US E class, it was not stable in tracking the road. I don't know why it is this way.
