If it's a test car, I expect that the dealership would have to disclose it to you. Hopefully it's just one that went on some random extended QA test at the factory.
I wouldn't mind 13 mi, but if my "new" car had 60 mi on it, I would be like WTF and refuse the car.

So what is one of these "test," cars you speak of? Does that just mean test drives, or something else?
Yeah I guess I didn't think a lot of it then because I thought it was just test drives, but 60+ miles? Although maybe 5 of them were mine.
The car seems ok though, so hopefully. I mean I have almost 500 miles on it now.

I was at one dealer where he showing me a car that i would be purchasing, already 35miles on it with front hood ornament missing.... give me a break... obviously a test drive car....
honestly, I wouldn't buy anything that is resembles a test drive car, ppl abuse the hell out of it. I would know :-)

They could've also accidentally read the trip miles, instead of the odometer...I would not be worried about 6 miles...some of our cars will have over 100 on them, just depends on which one's were test driven a little more (our normal test route is approximately 8 miles)...I would be a little preturbed though if it was an ordered car and your salesman let someone else test drive it...remember, it's still a new car and the warranty does not start until you take delivery...congrats on your new purchase.

My 95 E Class Wagon had 76 miles when I picked it up in Sindelfingen on tourist delivery.
The technician who delivered the car said my car was one of those that they take and run extensive tests on before releasing it. All I can say is that it was the only MB in those years that I had with no defects. Apparently they had gone over everything and made all necessary adjustments.

When I picked up my C-Class from Sindelfingen in January it had 13 miles on the odo. They test drive each and every car that comes off the line - some further than others - prior to release for shipment or collection.
