Quick Glove Box Question

I was taking a closer look at the glove box and noticed there was a pen holder, card holder and then what looks like a coin holder? i put in some quarters and it fits perfectly, but when i close the glove box and open it back up, the quarters are almost falling out, so it sucks as a coin holder. is this really a coin holder or am i a retard and its used for something else?

if you open your glove box and look at the inside of the door, on the left side you'll see a row of slots. any ideas of what it is? there was nothing in the manuel about it.

Try Euros instead of quarters.

I prefer not to do it in the car because this damn car doesn't has memory seat and I hate to spend time adjusting it back to the way it was.

I've wondered about the slots too. What are they for?

And for all your activity talk, this is a pretty small car. ha-ha.

I believe is for the Ipod holder, and to secure the Ipod connector wire

but its on the left side of the door of the glove box. the location wouldnt make sense to secure the ipod connector wire since that is on the right side of the interior of the glove box. i have a feeling its a poor attempt to being a quarter holder. bring some quarters with you the next time you get into your car and place them in those slots.

anyone out there know offically what those slots are for? i know its a stupid little thing, but it bugs me not knowing!

It's for quarters, but like OP stated it is the worst coin holder because if I don't close my glovebox really really slowly the quarters will fall out and just be laying on the glovebox floor the next time I open it.

I pick up my new C350 tomorrow - I'll ask about it. What else should I ask them to demonstrate? I know I need to learn about NAV and the MM knob...

The euros fit perfectly in the slots. Its Coin holder for sure. I can fit in 50's , 1's and I think 2's as well. No peoblems closing it. The coins never get losse until I pull them out. Myabe its not handy for US coins.
