LEASE payments? What are YOU paying?

MY girl is looking for a C300 with P2 and MM packages.

What ballpark should the lease be in? What are you other owners paying?

She went to the dealer and came back with $1671 out of pocket, 33months/15K per year - $665.22 month w/ 7% tax. Sticker was $40,xxx I believe.

I thought that sounded a bit high.

Feedback?

I got ripped off. Not so much on the Benz, but on my trade in. I lost $1000-$1500 at least, which would have been $30-$40 per month for me.

My car sticker was $37,875, and my payments are $550. that is with $2,500 cash and $1000 net on the trade-in, so $3,500 total.

Putting what you stated into MBUSA calculator I came to $712 before tax on payments, so she must have had them lower the MSRP?

You know 39 months might take $80-$90 off per month, unless that is too long.

The mathematics seemed approximately right though, from what you described, although for that payment I do suspect she had gotten them to take some off the MSRP as she should obviously.

Hey guys, I have a question related too.

What were your acquisition fees? I know MB usually says $795, but my dealer charged $1095 I think. $300 profit for them. I tried to make them remove the $300, but they wouldn't.

Any of you guys get higher than $795 acquisition fee too?

Finally, what is your guys turn-in fee? Mine is $595 I think.

Went to the dealer and got this quote, but haven't made a final decision yet:

C300 Sport 4Matic
P1, MM, Ipod adapter
12k, 39months
599/month with 2200 down (this includes 7% sales tax)

Mine is
C300 4Matic Lux, Metallic Paint, P2, MM
MSRP: 41,988

Leased on end of Oct, 2007 for
$1000 up front (including 1st payment and regstration fee and stuff)
$654/mo(Tax included) for 38mo
with 12k miles/year

What attracted me most with this lease deal was Buy Out price at the end of lease was only $21,000 + lease return fee which is like $300 something becasue I intent to keep my car.

I know I got a crap deal compartively. But I wanted to lease badly because I'm tired of being upside down on trade-ins, trying to sell cars privately, or laying out big downpayments to insure that I'm not upside down. I swap cars a lot ... I know I pay a lot extra to feed that addiction.

I was an earlier adopter that paid full msrp (only two main Benz dealers so they have no reason to compete for business unless sales are slow).

$1200 out of pocket at sign, fees and 1st months payment plus a tiny bit of cap cost reduction was just rounding out the check at that point. If I remember right I even took it on the chin and put and rolled over a few dollars from the trade.

C300 P1, 7sp, Pano, 18" AMG.

39mo, 15kyr $617.

That's a big reason why my wife won't let me buy expensive cars. She knows I'd easily spend triple that if I had my way ... and then she'd never have money to spend on her house remodelling addiction.
