Door rattle and wind noise - anyone else?

Try this, when going 40 mph+, open the ashtry and tell me if any of you hear a hissing sound, like the radio is on a fully static channel. I have this issue and can't be the only only. It's loudest when the ashtry is open.
Also, i heard the low volume aux issue can be fixed with a firmware update? this true?

I'm glad they found the problem on your car. For comparison, mine is the second quietest car we've ever owned.
Quieter than three Jags (two X-Types and the XF we have now), only the 2005 XJ8L was quieter, but it cost twice as much.

Ive been having the wind noise problem in the passenger side rear as well. It is quite annoying. I think it is caused by something not being applied correctly. Maybe the upper chrome trim piece that is glued on is not in place correctly? Not sure.
