Oh Cool

I'm trying to figure out what the harman/kardon Logic 7 Music DVD is all about. At home it won't play in the CD or DVD players. I didn't get a chance to play it in the car yet if it even plays in there. Did anyone play this thing yet, what does it mean by Secrets?

It came with the manuals, my car has MM so it may be exclusive when you order MM.

Its not a compact disc, its a dvd with audio sound imprinted on it and is only playable on dvd players that are equipped to do so. Its the only way to take full advantage of all the tracks on an audio disc in 5.1 format. Have fun trying to find anything you actually listen to in this format though. The dvd audio and sacd formats have bombed since being introduced and have almost all but disappeared from the markets. Best Buy will carry a few, but the selection is awful, but you can still go to online outlets and get them, but as mentioned not every disc is made in dvd audio format, only big selling albums.

Is there anything worthwhile on this DVD? It's title "Secrets" it implies that it contains some special learnings about the MB C C-class.

its a stupid demo disc. i played it for a few minutes, wasnt even worth the effort.

Ah if there is video on it, then its not a dvd audio disc, its just a dvd. I thought because the original poster said it wouldn't play on any of his players in the house that it might be a dvd audio disc. Lol told you dvd audio discs were hard to find, even Benz can't find you one ha ha.

I got one, haven't bothered to play it yet, thought it was only a DVD-A or dvd-audio disc. the case it is in suggests it is merely a classical guitar (?) recording done real well, thus showing off the sound system. Don't think there's any video on it, but haven't played.

However, for those interested, the secrets package does come with a photo-diagram of the sound system speaker placement, fwiw.

Then it was removed and trashed.
