headlight bulb upgrades
I have the P2 bi-xenon lights, and I have upgraded all of the non-xenon lights, with exception of the eyebrow city lights, and so far I have been pretty happy.
First I replaced the fog light bulbs to the Hoen High Performance yellow bulbs. The look is very yellow (similar to rallye lights) from all angles and still very bright which is exactly what I wanted. The bulbs are actually H7 and not H11 as stated in the owner's manual, I originally bought the H11 and Hoen was nice enough to exchange it for the H7 for no charge.
Next I replaced the supplementary highbeam bulbs to Luminics Platinum bulbs. They are a perfect match in color and blends nicely with the xenons. They are also very bright too.
And lastly I replaced the turn signal bulbs to silver bulbs to eliminate that fried egg look through the clear lens and gives the headlights a cleaner look. They light up amber exactly as stock.
These bulbs too were incorrectly stated in the manual. The bulbs are 3457A, not PY21W (a totally different bulb).
Here are some pics:

After:
I tried to replace the eyebrow city lights (5W5 wedge bulbs) to LED bulbs which I bought from Hoen. Unfortunately the bulbs are always lit even when the car is off. I'm guessing the LED bulbs requires such a small electrical draw that any tiny amount of current in the wiring will make it go on.
The stock bulbs have a blue coating so it still looks reasonably white, so I'm not too concerned about it -- though the LED city lights looked awesome on my previous car.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to ditch those ambers since I go the car.
I switched to silvers in my volvo and the amber on one side doesn't quite match the other side when they are lit

You could get them cheaply from eBay.
Could spend much more on Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, but they are slightly transparent which shows a slight odd yellow and bluish color in the reflectors.

I put these on my C32 in the front and rear and it looked great.
Want to make sure this in the proper bulb to buy for the c300 front
Stealth Bulbs #3357/3457 (Pair)
Also anyone know of clear side marker lights for the front. I have those on my c32 and it made a huge difference in how clean the car looked. I have been on ebay and everywhere. Can't find any.

There seems to be a lot of differing opinions on the best brand for low/high beam replacement bulbs. I am about to order the Luminics Krypton Titanium White for both my lows and highs...anyone have these? Any other suggestions? I am on a lease, so I can't upgrade to HID.

Ah ha! I had originally thought bi-xenon meant that shutter came across the low beam to activate the high beam.
Having tried it on my own car, it seems there is a shutter but then there seems to be a yellowish light for the high beam.
I didnt even realise that there was seperate bulb for high beam!
