I never thought that I would say this about a car with black rims, but it looks awesome (rims and all). Now, you just need a nice tint, and it would be a real black beast.

I'm torn on the tint. On one hand, it looks pretty slick, but on the other hand, i kinda want everyone to see who's inside!

 

You could just do a light tint of 35%.

I would also get the slabs of your grille painted black and the chrome left alone. Some people have done it with some pics if you search.

 

Jade is a beaut for sure ... love the rims, hope you don't mind a little Calcite cousin up north with the same ones ... mayhaps

 

Ah this looks amazing! I would like to see that grill blacked out, not just painted but black out everything but the star and it would look even better. Congrats!

im doing a similar set up

but I will have full tint all around on all windows ...will have front strip down about 6 inches..i am in AZ so police do not care.

I will also black out the rear lights except for the clear reverse lights, remove the c300, my rims will be 5 or 6 points with chrom lip, 2-3 inch rear lips 19 or 20 depending on what i think works better

I will also tint the mirror lights as well, the front grill will also be painted black except for the chrome and the star

 

Nice... have you considered blacking out the chrome as well?

 

So do you get warning messages on your display or did you find a workaround to it?

 

I take this comment back..the part about the blacked out grill..after seeing it done I can say this isn't a good idea lol..stick with the black grill with chrome slats and star.
