I'm not sure I get the point of it besides the coolness factor since the V1 will probably be located somewhere near your mirror anyhow, plus do you guys know about Lidar? More CHP are using it now instead of plain radar. They can spot you down the road much much further. From what I've read, if your detector goes off for radar, it's already too late.

Yeah, but hopefully your detector will pick up the attempts to get the cars in front of you before the cop targets you.
