Who is going to be the first to BLACK out their w204?
I am really eager to do this, there is the chrome on the grill left, and painting of the chrome, which I am a little Leary about getting painted or powder coated, as it mite not match the color of the car exact. I would leave the Mercedes Star chrome, that just not right to black that thing out.. There is more chrome around the 2 fog lights... And then all the chrome trim around the 4 door. I removed the Chrome along the doors. Removed the chrome from the back. So all I have is the Door Trim, fog lights, and grill.
HAS ANYONE DONE THIS YET? I don’t want to be the test subject, but I guess I mite be. Any ideas on how I can make sure this comes out right. I have to have it, so talking me out of it doesn’t count

i did it two days ago. left the MB star in the front crome. i will be putting a turbo, chip, ecu flash, suspension, etc in this car and i promise, blacking the grill will be my fav mod. night and day diff.

^You BETTER keep us posted on that turbo kit... That will be my fav mod... Im getting excited just thinking about it. I plan on being the first person to paint the ENTIRE grill black, encluding the crome star. But knowing my luck some one has already done it?

Turbocharging this car is a scary idea...unless you have virtually unlimited cashflow. I can't even begin to imagine how your dealership would laugh at you when you show up for service with a turbo kit on your car.
I did that stuff to my saturn but it was a saturn...if something broke in the engine of the Benz you would probably be better to just buy a new car.

It would be nice if someone would develop a kit for the W204. Even a Vortech supercharger kit would be cool. I'd like to see around 300hp. The hope of forced induction is one of the reasons I bought a 6 spd manual, an easier tranny to upgrade.
