AMG Grill??
is getting an AMG grill for my C350 as simple as calling the dealership?
1. Are they available yet?
2. Will it fit my car?
3. Any price idea?
my thinking is this would look better than just painting my fins on my current grill but would like to know what I am getting myself into.
Thanks

They are available. But you would also need to get the upper chrome trim that attaches to the hood which last I checked isn't available. Check with the dealer. There is another thread that talks about all this with pictures of the AMG grill into the car along with fitment. Take a look at it and see if you like it.

Id say wait for the aftermarket parts
they are likely to make that exact shape but as a solid piece
IMO looks alot better.
Id say if you were going to mod using C63parts
GET THE Black housed HEADLIGHTS!! (at least thats what Im gonna do)

If you do a search on the AMG grill you will find pictures of someone who has already installed it. Not sure as to where they got it, but one thing is clear, it doesn't look right inside the smaller hood and fenders. Couple of things you could do, A. you can paint the grill you already have. B. you can wait for an after market grill. or C. hope that the new CLC grill is a perfect fit for the sedan. The last one seems realistic as it appears to be a closer exact fit than the AMG grill, but getting a hold of one might be tricky in the U.S. for the time being.

still dunno... but we have a few options (hoping for next month)
my SR will have a price and parts list.
we can get the headlights from either the C63 or CLC
the CLC has the Sport grille with the brushed metal in black (the way it should be)
If I were to choose I'd pick the CLC Grille over the C63
The C63 is just not perfectly aligned with the hood opening
here is the link to Inspire'sW204 C63 swap

Exactly my point, it appears to be the same grill as the sedan just painted black and could be a direct fit...the AMG grill is going to require some cutting of some sort to get it to fit correctly as the pictures from another poster show huge gaps on each side of the grill where the top grill meets the bottom grill.

the amg grille also has mesh behind it like on the front bumper.
its just pretty much a completely different grille.
i'd wait for an aftermarket amg grille made to fit the non amg models
