All of the places I have looked online show that the RWD and 4matics use the same lowering springs.... Is this correct or do they require different springs?

I'm pretty sure they will not fit.
I've spoken to the technician at H&R and he says he's pretty sure the front springs for the 4-matic system are completely different. but he wasnt 100% sure.

They won't be making any springs for 4-matic from what i've been told...
but maybe they'll make them for the german market. so try talking to a german distributor for h&r springs.

other than that, ur best bet is to cut the springs

4-matic springs are different. They are very very rare.

** EDIT ** - they were different for the W203, not sure about the W204.

Call your dealer's part department and ask if the factory springs are the same for 4matic and RWD.

i just got an email from a dude at wogtland springs germany.

he said their springs for the c350/c300 are for 4-matic aswell

I talked with H&R today and they said that the springs are all the same for all w204.

I then called Eibach and they said that the springs are different and they don't make and may not make springs for the 4matic.

I can't get a useful answer from anybody.

Has anyone with the 4matic replaced their springs yet?

same thing with me..

i keep hearing different stuff.

i just dont wanna be the guinea pig and test the springs first to see if they fit.
