Turbocharger coming for the C350.
I heard the C350 will be getting the "turbo" treatment soon, with a turbocharged version offering around 350hp.
Hope this happens sooner rather than later.
And I hope there is no laaaggg

Really? The only turbo development for any Mercedes engine I heard of was the application for the 6.3 AMG engine.
The SLK350 already has revised a 3.5L coming with 305hp (?).

Not anywhere near the prices we paid, I suspect.
In the Blue Efficiency model thread which led to the Mercedes weekly TV show link, I noticed passing quickly in front of a camera was a blue C and on it's trunk was C350 on the left and CGI on the right.
THIS is a good sign.

I realize that. There has been a lot of speculation on this board about when the C-Class gets the DI engine and now, here is a photo of one. Which might lead one to think that now (soon?) there will be a direct injection 3.5 in the W204. Up until now it's only been offered in the CLS except in North America.

I would say there is no way a turbocharger coming for the C350, that would take hp way over the 300hp mark. They've already reached 300hp or so with the CGI version and the higher compression version in the 09' SLK350. There was once this rumor about a C400 with a 4L V6 and 380hp, even more far-fetched. Neither is true.
