de-badge or not ?

Not sure if the boot lip need to de-badge or not ? Would the car looks more clean without the badge on the boot lip ?

its all personal preference, my friend. who cares what others think as long as you like it one way or another. there are plenty of pictures with and without the badges on the forum...

Like everyone says- its a personal preference. I de-badged mine because I like that "clean" look and because European models don't have model numbers on them. I also like the fact that people are trying to guess what model it is (for now anyway).

i have the c300 4matic and i really want to debadge it, but then again i really like the 4matic emblem im leaning towards debadging it, and i was wondering if i should do it myself (seems easy enough) or bring it up to the dealership (i have my 3000mile checkup in a few weeks). my question is do you guys think the dealership would do it for no charge?

if you are having other work done, im sure if you mention it to them, they would do it for no charge...

but all you need is dental floss, and a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive...and it should come right off.

European models def also have the badge. It's just a personal pref, I personally like the badge, the rear almost looks a little too plain without it.

I heard it was an option to have the model number on the European models. If I'm wrong- I don't care...I don't live in Europe.

awe it is what it is

I think its a utter sin to debadge a mercedes, I get the debadging for the clean look but really it looks like you have a replacement trunk lid. Don't fuc with perfection, I'm not busting ballz and I debadged my 2002 gmc of the cheap z71 stickers and such. Hey its a mercedes don't fuc with it too much other than maybe updated rims and more wax, Keep it simple and drive is my humble opinion ye fools. It's all good but come on don't go over the top with all that crap that actually cheapens the look of the car?

All personal preference my friend. I do agree that some of the mods can make the Benzes look cheaper and riced out, but that just means mine looks that much better.

Its a never ending argument and a personal preference and a light hearted busting chops ya know. I'm just a detail guy and my opinion (which is like a A..hole everyone has one) If your gonna do it, do it up right with quality. The main thing about owning a quality mercedes is the owner, take care of it and wax it, do the proper service and keep it clean and kick *** looking. No matter what model or year if you do it right and have the passion with some elbow grease and attention to detail the Mercedes is above and beyond the others in my humble opinion.

I think the biggest benefit of debadging is not having an ocd attack when waxing the truck area.. jesus cleaning in between letters pisses me off
