I purchased my car in Aug 07 and i didnt have the multimedia package. I now want to get it only for the navigation not for the speakers, does anyone know where i can buy it?

I see... cuz the thing is that i didnt think that i would want it when i bought the car but then i saw it and i liked it. I mean i dont need anything other than just the navigation but i think it looks good. So does anyone know what i would need to do. Cuz i called the dealer and all they tell me is i can get an aftermarket one. But thats not what i want.

This thread is similar to another one where the poster just wanted to add the MM screen. I posted the same thing two or three times now but my story is when asking a service adviser if I could add Sirius to a non p1 car he typed in the computer and came up with the answer of no, they are two different radios. Not all options are prewired for cars, so thinking that simply adding the new radio/command center and new screen would do the trick would probably be over simplifying it. $4k for nav? A little early for an April Fools Joke isn't it?

Its more than just a head unit, you will have to replace half the center stack on the C class, some wiring harnesses along with the lovely DVD drive that has to be installed. Its a fairly complicated procedure folks.

Ok so you think that i can get it done then for $4gs... Where are you located so we can meet up then, I see you are in South Orange County, So you shouldnt be too far from where i live. Let me know, By the way all i would need is the parts my friend owns a stereo shop and he can install everything for me.

There are several threads about MM vs. non MM
