I have Palladium Silver Metallic. I think all the colors look pretty awesome, but I do like mine a lot too.

Am I right that Palladium Silver Metallic is exclusive to the C-Class?

Does a color like that typically make it to the following model years, or no?

I got Steel (Tenorite) grey and am very pleased. The chrome trim and AMG 18s contrast very nicely with the darker grey.

obsidian black for me. the other 2 cars i have had before them were a 04 TL silver and a 98 accord v6 coupe also in silver. i have been waiting a long time to get a nice black ride.

Obsidian Black Metallic for me.

I went with Obsidian Black for a couple of reasons, one being I thought it would be a rarer color because I only see the flat black (looking at this chart I was wrong) It also looks amazing when clean (mines never clean) and I thought it would hide the scratches better (it doesn't). Which leads me into this question...anyone else disappointed with this so called scratch resistant nano particle paint? I treat my car very well, take the extra effort to keep kids trees other cars ect. away from it, yet I have scratches all over the trunk lid. Most of which buffed out with some wax, but there are a few that are those pesky thin white scratches..you know the ones that are supposedly not supposed to happen with this paint!

Could someone post pictures of obsidian black when its clean and supposedly sparkles? I chose normal black on my car b/c obsidian black looked exactly the same in the car lot (it was pretty dusty).

benzlvr2500 the colors do look quite similar. the only difference is the obsidian black has a bit of a flake in it. so from up close there is more of a glitter/shimmer where as the black when clean has that deep crush look to it. i hope that helps. i only noticed it after the dealer pointed it out to me.

i too am starting to wonder if i should have picked a different colour.

You're absolutely right, the door handles are obsidian black. I now regret that i didn't get obsidian black on my R350 b/c my IS350 is also black. Oh well

Mines Cubanite SIlver. Cos Im a boring fart and the Last car I had was a Holden in this colour. Whe yer out chasing Crocodiles the bloody suckers cant see yer commin in this wee beastie. A big plus is you only have ta wash it once in a blue moon and it hides the desert dust a real treat, cos the dust is the same colour. (Skews the spellin!)

TO my Eyes the Cubanist is real soft silver and hides all the stone chips and claw marks fro the ferkin tigers that ar always crawlin alw over th e friggin paintwork in the middel of the night.

Anyways I like it and thats what counts eh mate!

Is it possible to get ahold of MB data to see what they've produced? That way we could compare the poll results to the factory production. Might give us a feel for how we, as a group, compare to the production estimates at the factory. Do you think that they are producing cars on spec that we would buy?

i would bet that somewhere at MB head office they are tabling the data to see what kind of stats and metrics they come up with. you could always try contacting them and asking them to share the info. i do not see any harm in this.

on a side note...white and silver seems to be the number 1 consumer choices followed closely by the grey and black. i think the two tone roof has alot to do with peoples decisions on the color white just a thought. no matter what combination you guys ended up with the car overall looks HOT!
