Squeeky side mirrors
Hi, anyone have a quick fix for those squeeky side mirrors? I thought the cold winter weather was part of the cause, but now with the warmer temperatures, its still making noise.

Hey, I have that same problem. Mine mainly squeeks after it's wet and sits overnight, then it only squeeks for like 2 seconds when the mirrors are unforlding (after unlocking the car). I tryed remaking that squeek at the dealer so the service rep can hear but it didnt work so they didn't fix it.

It figures that I just read this post the other day and when I was just walking away from my car and locking the doors, I heard this loud squeek. Sure enough it was the left side mirror folding in. I'm taking my car in for it's first maintenance in 2 weeks and will have them take a look at it then.

The dealer may need to lube the moving parts, I get that on passenger side or the driver sides, its getting annoying.
I will have the dealer check it out too when I my car is in for maintenance as well soon.

I have on both sides now ... I disabled the folding as it's embarassing walking away from my new Benz and hearing it creaking ...
have to go to my dealer anyway, so we'll see ...

"Thankfully" it was a consistent noise.
I suppose you just have to wait for it to get worse? I know it sounds bad, but everything is still under warranty, so wait it out, but I don't think it'll solve itself ... I just hope these new ones last longer than 7mths

2019 GLA 250 - I am in purgatory right now...
I brought in mine to the dealer for this. Thanfully it's a transient problem and dosen't happen much any more. Only really happened for two weeks. Best explanation I got was that it was just road dirt. Now I am sure I just wash them well when i wash the car. I've been good for several weeks now.
