All weather floor mats...

Where can I get some All weather floor mats for my C300? I hear the OEM ones arent that good. Are there any aftermarket ones cheaper than the Oem's $110 price?

Thanks.

I got the OEM ones for free as part of my deal. I think they're great. Their custom fitting makes them fit perfectly so they don't move and they match the interior perfectly.

However, I would never spend $110 on rubber mats.

The OEM MB rubber mats lasted 4 years in my 202 with no visible wear

The OEM VW mats in my 08 Rabbit were showing wear after 3 months

You tell ME about the quality of OEM MB mats

Dont know. I read that the 204 floor mats r cheap rubber and the sidewalls are soft.

Anyone knows if the weather techs floor mats for the C300 are available yet?

I got the o.e.m. mats thrown in on my deal as well, I have the mats in my C and R and I have no problems with them what so ever. When you first get them you will have to give them a scrub though, they have some sort of oily residue on them from the manufactoring process, after that they are good to go. Word of advice, get black...if you get the beige or gray mats they tend to show scuff marks easily and they don't come off.

It is unfortunate the author doesn't find the search function helpful as many members, including myself, have already posted reviews of every floor mat available.

Adding another new topic every time a thought passes through a member's cranium, instead of continuing an existing thread, already full of member feedback, decreases the utility of the search function

You nailed it, I'm all about post count.

And I just got one more...

try WeatherTech mats. They are well made, could hold a good deal of snow, water and dirt. I had them on my last car for a good 6 years and I've kept them on year round. They hold much more dirt and water than the OEM mats and are made of a good amount of rubber (it is very heavy duty). I believe they now have mats that fit our cars.
I would've bought them for my car in a second but it wasn't available when I took delivery of my car.

I just checked their website. The C300 isnt listed. So it looks like they dont have mats for our cars yet.

Posting "search the forum" without any help "decreases the utility" of the forum.

Answering the question with leads ("Try Weathertech.com") takes the same amount of energy and helps the OP.

With the floormats I'm going for a deep-dish look, more a bowl than a plate (make any sense?), so that I can just lift them whole and dump out the collected dirt. From the pictures WeatherTech mats seem to have pretty high side walls, so I'm waiting for those. Anyone got other suggestions?

^ This is actually what I want. Deep-dish, baby. Might be too much rubber for some, though. But nothing for the w204 yet.

Since I got my C350, I've periodically sent McNeil Automotive (which makes the WeatherTech products) emails requesting that they develop a floorliner for the 2008 C350. About a month ago they responded by email that they had developed them and were ready for purchase. I haven't yet bought my set, but have uploaded some pictures from another board of a guy that bought them for his C300. I think I'm going to skip the second row set. I was expecting the second row to cover the hump. My other cars have WeatherTech floor liners, and they cover the driveshaft hump. The cargo liner looks like a good fit.

The image on their website shows there is a hump cover if you purchase front and back? But if you just purchase the back, it's two pieces. Can you check with your contact to verify which type of back it is?

Edit: Ok, just got a response from them, they are indeed 2 piece rear floorliners. Their webmaster hasn't been supplied with pictures so he was just using some stock images.

I had mats thrown in with the deal. They looked so nice & I was so worried that I would mess them up with cow manure ,I have cut some old white house carpet to cover them up.!!Every time they look bad I spend 5 minutes cutting up another set . Not Cool ,I know

I've been waiting for these guys to release this, as seen in the below post. Nice!

Thanks for the notice. Just what I needed.

Mine are grey OEM and I agree they show scruff marks. After 7 months they look like heck. I like the pics posted for Weathertech & will go there to get replacement.
