Have not been in snow with the new vehicle. Based on my experience with my 2002 C Class Coupe, however, RWD with traction control and dedicated snow tires should pose no problem in the snow.

There was a crazy snowfall we had here in Canada about a month ago. My wife needed to go out and said that she needed to take my car. I have the 4matic with snow tires. She said it was amazing. I hesitated to take it out to work because of the concern with ice. I didn't want to risk it, but the wife needed to go out. I don't know if I was more worried about the car or her!!

Anyway, I don't have a frame of reference but it seemed to handle well in the snow with the 4matic and snow tires.

2008 Mercedes C350 Saks Edition
i have the 350 and here in the midwest with lake effect snow the car really could not do anything after 4-5 inches.

however after putting on snow tires i got through the rest of winter season with snow fall in the 10 inch range.

invest in the tires. worth every cent.

2015 Iridium Silver Luxury Edition C300 4Matic
Driven in snow, all winter.

Driven mine in Quebec snow, all winter. The 4Matic system, along with Bridgestone W60 Blizzaks, is incredible in snow and on ice.

A real pleasure.
