C300 Sport w/P2 & MM OR C350 w/MM
Hi!
Thank you for all your help deciding on my new 2008 C-Class.
I'm down to two cars now...
A C300 with P2 package and MM package --> Will have to pay around $5500 for the trade.
A C350 with P1 (standard on C350) and MM package --> Will have to pay around $6600.
The fact that C350 comes with a 17" AMG wheel is making me lean toward the C350 of course and the added horsepower...but I'm losing the Zenon and LED taillights...and of course some cash...
I think the car has plenty of power with the 3.0L engine but I think the 3.5L engine will have better resale value in the furture.
Is this a no brainer?

I would still go for a C350 though. But if you're looking for bang for your buck, have you considered the 335i?
The '09 Audi A4 looks pretty cool too.
If you're unsure, don't rush yourself into a car that you might not want. It's a great time to be on the market, especially with the new generation of sport sedans rolling in.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
a C300 Sport with P2, MM, and assuming you want the 7spd auto will set you back $40k add the $1k 18'' AMG option and your around $41k. A C350 with the same options will be around $43k almost $44k. That seems like a lot of money for a C class and as I've stated before on this board, after driving mine for about 5k miles I've found that its not a $40k car. Fit, finish, and materials used are on par with the mid $30k cars in its class. My car came in at $37 but after some sweet talking and some throw ins it was more in the mid $30's, still a bit high for what your getting but much more reasonable than $40k. Go with the C300, you can easily get it for invoice now with some added extras thrown in.

It depends where and how you drive. If you find the power of the 300 adequate get that and enjoy the extra features and better fuel economy. Why comprmise on features to get power you will not use and still have to pay more for your fuel?
