C63 Parts
Went to my local dealership yesterday and asked about the C63 leather shift knob. I asked him if I needed a vin# for a C63 to order the parts and he said "hell no...YOU can order any part you want- we just need to get the part #"

Yeah they don't have any problems ordering you up the cosmetic stuff, its the engine and the engine parts they want a vin# for. By chance did you get the C63 shift knob and what part number was it? I love that silver and leather look so much better than the solid silver of the Sport.

It should...and I say should cause I don't have the manual transmission..but should fit both auto and manual. I would like to change out from the stock C300 Sport shift knob to the C63 leather/painted shift knob cause I noticed on the C300 Sport demo car my dealership had that the silver paint was starting to flake off the knob. I realize it was a demo unit and is getting more wear and tear than I'll ever put on it, but it doesnt take much for your special lady friend with a hand full of rings to have one catch and scratch the paint off. Then again same could be said of the leather wrap, just would scratch and not flake off though.
