Schaetz Shift Knob - Bird's Eye Maple

Am about to order a #772-7224 Schaetz Bird's Eye Maple shift knob from ForMyMercedes.com.

Here is the link to the part: http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...=Shift%20Knobs

Anyone here who ordered this part already? Please let me know what you think of the workmanship and overall quality of the product. Hope the bird's eye maple on the shift knob matches the ones on my center console and doors of the C350. TIA for your comments and feedback.

Are you sure this will work with my manual transmission? Just want to make sure because nowhere does it say manual vs auto knob.

Also, how hard is this going to be for me to install? Will I need to bring this to dealer?

Thanks

I think it should, but you can always call Jerry and confirm. Installation is quite simple if you know how. Twist and pull. I saw my service advisor do one of my previous Benz and it was easy.

How did that shift knob work out. The plastic silver shift knob is very cheap looking one of the few things I dont like about the car and I have been looking for a replcement. I'd luv to finbd a C63 knob. Lemme know if the match and installation was easy.

Thanks,

Doc

I have one on order. Jerry sent me a sample of the wood grain so I could see how close it matched OEM. I was pretty impressed with how close it looked. Will post pictures once it's installed.

Finally received the Schaetz shift knob I ordered from Jerry at ForMyMercedes.com and installed it myself. Am very happy and satisfied with the quality and workmanship.
