lol wait till you live in phoenix

my gauge has read 121 before

ive seen it higher as well but you have to remember thats not the true temp until you actually start driving for a while to level it off to the correct temp. depending if you have a tint strip on your front window may also affect the temp gauge

Goodness....think I'll melt in tht heat. No, thanks but I'll rather have the rain and snow in Vancouver any day. It's probably the best place to be at during summer.

The temp gauge is mounted in the windshield now? I thought it was still in the front bumper? I doubt they put it in the windshield, that wouldn't make sense as it wouldn't be very accurate when the interior is hot.

you could definitely be correct on the front of the car.....i dont exactly know...I know the rain sensor is on the windshield (not on...but you know what I mean) I wonder if the temp is there as well. When they repair your windshield the company needs to know if it has rain sensors or not as well.

The temp sensor is in the front bumper. You have to drive around for it to read the correct temp.

The sensor is still the same style and sits embedded in the bumper.
I could see a manufacturer making an infrared one (like how they do the inside temps), but I dunno that people care enough. Just for fun, you can pull the thermocouple from the bumper and place it wherever you want for readings. I had the one on my E55 rigged to the intake air for a while. I didn't do anything with the info, but it was fun.

I live in Miami too, and took this picture a few days ago.

Dry heat is one thing, but when you add in out 300% humidity, then it's ridonculous.
