I see the added carbon effects as well as the ice
not a fan of yellow unless the emblem has a raging bull with scissor doors

Though not my personal cup of tea, I applaud the effort. The wheel color combination is pretty cool, but I don't like the design.
And no, it doesn't look like a taxi. I remember SLKs used to come in that color. Or do they still?

Sorry man. This doesn't look good. Was your friends last car a two door 1994 civic hatch back or a 1989 Honda CRX. Is he missing the whole fast and furious aura in the benz.

His ID says vnc230 -- Vietnam C230. His signature says he drives a C230. VN is the country code for Vietnam.
And if you read his words/posts carefully, especially post #13, he's actually denying that he's from Germany. He just forgot to put a question mark at the end. In addition, the modernized pagoda in the background with bunch of people sitting around looks pretty Asian to me. And his license plates, front and back, and the plates of the other cars in the pictures are definitely NOT American. And they aren't any kind of European plates that I've seen.
