Can't be to encouraging on this, unfortunately you will have to be prepared to lose a bundle. Try selling it yourself. Good luck.

I'm curious as to what it would go for as well, I'm in the same boat as you..I have pretty much the same car but with less miles and would love to get rid of it. Problem is if I get rid of it now I'm going to lose my a$$ because there really isn't a market value for this car yet. Kelly Blue Book doesn't have a listing for the 2008 model yet, you could attempt to go off 2007 model pricing and add a little for being another year newer, but seeing how the 2008 (w204) is a new body style you can't do that. I'm trying to stick with the C for at least another year, then get into a late 2009 early 2010 GLK.

How much do you think I will lose if I sell it privately?

I think the bloom is off the rose. My dealer has about nine Cs in stock, now. Some of them are becoming old friends since I see them every week.

Be prepared to take a bath.

I read your comment and it got me curious, checked my dealerships online inventory (while not always 100% correct it gives me an idea) and they currently have 24 C 300's and 8 C 350's on the lot.

They also have a used 2008 C350 with 9k miles p2 for $35k. That might give you an idea of what a C 300 is going for.

I've been thinking of getting out of ours too but because I think I want to reduce our carbon foot print and also get something more fuel efficient and less pretentious. I know it's just the C-Glass but even my wifes boss has said "we must be paying you too much" It's been a great car and I have no general complaints. My wifes still loves it dearly, I think I will be sleeping in the garage if I trade it for a Prius.
