Here's a link to the Brabus website. Navigate to tuning, then c-class and Power upgrades.

I want to know how "programmable" are our ECUs???
can we do A/F tune with it?

1. open hood
2. take out ecu
3. send it to tuner
4. get it back from tuner
5. everything back to normal
??
is it really that easy?

i have seen them done it on my W211 before. they had to open the ECU, the the chip off, put it on their programming module to reprogramm, then weld it back on the ECU. Is that how it will be done on the W204? or is it something that they can reflush without taking the chip off the ECU, like how they do the BMWs. I know I have to send my ECU in since I live in Chicago now. But I was hoping they can put my ECU in a W204 and program it that way.

I thought it was send your ECU and they would Flash it with the new software it all plug and play or is it?

From what I saw...they took my board out, plugged it in to their system, and began flashing the chip. After it was done, they plugged it back in the car. I didn't see any hardware modification and definitely no soldering or anything like that.
If you have any questions, just give SI a call and they can probably answer your questions better than I can. They seemed friendly enough and open to any inquiries.

Where are you guys getting info from? I have gone to the SI site and only see info for Acura/Honda. I am interested in a little extra power, response and economy but agree with others here that I want to see some dyno charts first.

I actually had my W211 done by them 4 years ago, too.
It's not a "flush", but a chip replacement.
regarding the MB dealer. I took my car in for several services that they upgrade or flush on the ECU, but never they mention the detection of the ECU chipping or brought up any warranty issue.
But I did take my car back to Speed Inn. to get the ECU done again, just incase the dealer accidentally erase it.

Good Lord MAN!!! It is FLASH!! NOT FLUSH. I flush my toilet or if we talk about cars, I flush my coolant. I an not familiar with flushing my ECU. Its called a re-flash where they plug your ECU into a computer programmer and it re-flashes your ecu to their programmed settings.

white and whiter
headers and exhaust adds 20-25hp at most with the tune. plus the tune you'll probably see something like 30-35hp (40hp at crank if lucky) on the NA.
on the M272 SI tuned few member's w203 C350. those went up to around 290-300hp at crank.
what I'm hoping is that we can find out what is changed in the 2009 SLK350 to make 309hp at crank. a healthy 31hp more. i'm assuming it's only cam and adjusted fuel mapping.

I would like to revive this topic. I'm in the market for an ECU tune and will be doing before and after dynos to verify that I'm getting what I pay for. Is Speed Innovations in business any longer? The website seems a little sketchy. If you go to www.speedinnovations.com it only talks about acuras and hondas. If you go to www.speedinnovation.com (without the "s") the website looks like it was never completed and says "coming soon" for a lot of items. What's going on with these guys? Any new news?

Speed Innovation did a round of cars in norcal and apparently everyone was happy with it. There are lots of testimonials and reviews on the tune on mymbonline. Although the added power is a nice boost, but honestly, I'm not gonna be racing anyone in a c300 :p. It's the 10% better mpg that really caught my eye. I believe once you get it tuned, you can take it out for a spin and if you don't like it, they can reflash your ecu to original settings.
Azn_300 - Did you get the increased MPG you were looking for with this tune?
Has anybody noticed better fuel consumption in any of their ECU tunes? I really want to go with something that lessons the burden of buying premium gas.

Be careful
2008 down maybe but for 2009 No...
I had my ECU sent to SI to program in April but the tune did not work on my car.
I had to replace my ECU because what ever they did to my ECU the car would not start when it did before there program and I'm still waiting on them to return my money....
