Stainless steel mesh lower grill

Have you guys seen this?

At $296.10, it's a bit too pricey for me, but for those of you that keep breakin yours, it might be worth a look. I'll probably buy one of these to paint black if and when I break mine (hopefully never!).

Looks like it might fit only the Carlsson kits? Would look nice painted black IMO.

I'm waiting for a black painted one that fits a Sport.
I've already have a hole on my second stock plastic gill (a pain an expensive to replace) and really want to replace it with a much stonger mesh.

There was a member here that was trying to sell the upper and lower grille, but never got back to us regarding the black painted versions.

Their little picture shows a Sport with a Lux grill. The Lux has no lower grill, just some slats.

He probably never got back with us because he didn't receive the warmest greeting. I admit I wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy.

I remember that member. People were cappin on him like he was crazy.

This grill looks not too nice, I admit, but painted black, I think I can dig it. Sorta close my eyes half-way when I look at it, maybe. Sure beats a broken grill too. I'd like someone to make a replica of the OEM grill, except with a more sturdy metallic material, and painted black.

What's the source on this one? Can it be powder coated black? I like. And, it has the fogs as well. Much better than my plastic grill with the hole in it.

Powder coated black, I'd take it! And mine's a lease. Money well spent though to only have to replace the weak grill once and be done.
