Well, it's almost 100 HP, but do you need the power? Also, you'd get much better mileage from the C200 as well.

Also, you don't need the 4matic do you?

It's up to you, but I know in Australia these cares are incredibly expensive, so you might find the C200 the right fit. I think you'll have some more replies, to help you out.

I have a C300, which is a C280 in Australia. I love it.

Hi. I have the c200k for about 4 months and so far so good. Never realise that they have C350 4matic in Australia. When I purchased mine, only 4 models were available. c200k, c220 CDI, c280 and c320 cdi. Of course now, the C63.
cheers

I thought the 4matic was a standard tranny on the C200K in Australia. I'm not sure if my car has a 4matic how do I find out?

4matic on C200K . not feeling it.

I suggest to get C200K rear wheel only. I have spent 6 years in Australia ( Melbourne ) and i do not see a reason to buy a 4matic.

If you are in VIC area get the c200K with Advance agility package and hit the great ocean road.

My next C would be c200K with AMG package + Advance agility + 18" AMG + ( prefer black rims if i can get em) + all the options I have now.

You can see it on the MB website, the C200K is not standard 4-Matic....

I think 4 matic doesn't even excist on the C200K...

Thanks mate I have been having problem with transmission "jerk" at 1500rpm

https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...k+transmission

and assumed that C200K has same tranny as C32

Does the C32 have 4matic?

I'll check the MB website

Thanks

I have the C180K and it's fast enough, has more power than i suspected (Before my C i had an A200 Turbo with 193hp) So the C200K is also a good option.

I drive not so much that a diesel is cheaper for me (with the diesel price here in The Netherlands), but if it was cheaper to buy a CDI i would go for the CDI because of the power of the C200CDI (Torque 400NM)

And the new Diesel engines are much better and more quit than 10 years ago.

Just take a test drive with both and you will see what you like the most.

I had the same problem with my auto transmission, sometimes there was a big "shock". When i fully accelerate and leave the accelerator, than it was a big SHOCK . It's my firts car with auto transmission so i thought it was normal... but it wasn't

I've been to my dealer thursday and they "flashed" my transmission, and now the problem is solved by me.... and if it's comming back (because i have to drive 500km before it's sure that it's gone, according to my service manager)
than i go back again....

they have flashed my transmission and they put new software in my car, so i hope it's over.

I hope the transmission fluid flush and software flash fixes this problem. This car is also my first automatic hence why I too thought it was normal. After reading the posts in the forums I have now realised that it is most definately not normal.

I'd really appreciate it if you can let me know the result of the fluid flush & software flash as I will be going in for a service in a couple of months and would like to tell the mechanics what I want done.

Hopefully my extended warranty will cover it.

Yesterday i tried again, on a straight road, push the accelerator full and reached the max RPM and lett the accelerator loose... and there was no SHOCK... so only the Software flash of my transmission seems to work. They havent done the fluid flush.

It sounds like they just reset the TCU search the forums for "Throtte Reset"

The "Jerk" seems to occur mostly at 1500-2000 rpms not maximum rpms. Have you tried that?

Through my research I have found out that it not favorable to do the Tranny fluid flash because you risk spreading the metal particles that have settled at the bottom of the transmision box.

Your car is still new so there may not be much if any particles.

Thanks for the update,
Cheers.

They flashed the Transmission, so automaticly the throttle is resetted, but only throttle rest didn't work, i had tried that a couple of times, but no result.

I have no tjerk at 1500-2000 rpm
