Price Hike C350
freakin god, thats over a 1 thousand dollar increase, for the exact same car. if it got the new engine, then i could justify the price.the C300 stays the same at $32,975
hey Merc, what wheels are those in your sig. those are sooooooo hotttttttttt!!!! i want.
I agree it's expensive though.

Thats right - comes up to exactly $4,000 off MSRP, around 9% discount!

year ago and can still get 9500 if I wanted to sell it.Low mile C43 going for 11k in the amg section.Spank the 350 and you'd have change left over

On 7/10/07 a Euro cost $1.36, by 7/16/08 that same Euro was $1.59!! Also, transportation costs are rising in response to the zooming oil/fuel prices. I am actually surprised that MB is trying to hold the line at $875 for transportation and just increasing the US pricing on some models by as little as they have.
I realize this is not going to be a popular, but MB is trying to run a business and would not want to disadvantage themselves in the very competitive US market unless they had no other recourse.
A possible silver lining (if that's actually possible) coming out of the price increase is that it should help shore-up the resale value of prior models years (effectively yielding less depreciation).
I don't know about you but I would not bet on the dollar/euro thing improving anytime soon, and so expect 2010s to cost even more. The message here is that if are seriously considering buying one of these cars it may be a good time to get in early on the new model year and head-off any further price surprises down the road.
p.s.
If you have $1k that you don’t want, send it over to me, I will gladly take it. That still would not make me feel that I was getting a good deal on the ’09 MB.

I'm guessing since the C350 is built in Germany and the C300 is built in South Africa, the C350 took a bigger hit with the exchange rate.
I'm surprised the price of the base C300 remains unchanged due to it's popularity and low U.S. dollar.
They gotta hold back a little something ;-)

O, and don't forget about the parktronic on front and rear for 2010
P1 is $2150, was $1400. (for c300)
P2 is $3500, was $2750.
MM went up by $30.
Panorama went up by $50
18" AMG wheels went up by $10
Automatic transmission, no price yet (for c300)
correct me if i'm wrong.
So my 09 c300 gonna cost me an addictional $840. not bad though.
