Azn, just forget about it. No matter how simple we put it in English, they still don't get the point.

to all the guys that said "why didn't he just buy a C63?" you guys are just morons. In the US, the C63 is $70k with options and tax. a C350 is now less than $40k with just MMI. That's $30k difference in USD.

now that he lives in Malaysia which in Asia cars cost TWICE or 3 times as much as in US. the C200k for him cost around $80k USD. sure...he'll be able to afford the C63 in US, but not in Malaysia where the C63 is costing around $200k USD.

to Cmann, nice job and very well done I wish the parts and labor can be cheap and easily done like in Asia.

edit: correct the price corresponding to malaysia price.

You seem to be missing our point.

You're free to criticize, go ahead. If your comments make you appear stuck up, we're equally as free to point it out.

I drive on Brabus replicas for the record, rather than spending $1000/rim, $250/rim is much more economical when I damage one. To some of us, money is more important than prestige.

Pics?

You do what you want with your car, and people will say what they wanna say. It's still your car. I say, forget the haters, cmann. But they do have the right to say whatever they wanna say. Still their opinions.

Wait, i don't get it. Money is more important than 'Presitge', so you have to pose with 'Brabus' replicas? If you don't care about prestige, why don't you just keep OEM wheels, or perhaps buy a Toyota Prius?

I appear 'stuck up' because I want to keep my car stock, and not pretending to be something else? Well be it.

5-star crash test rating, 8 air bags, ... shall I keep going as to why no to buy a Prius?

Why buy new wheels, same reason as this member is adding a body kit, for style, not function. I bought the wheels cause I like the 6 split-spoke design and were cheap, the fact they are Brabus replicas had no bearing despite what you're trying to prove.

"Posing" is "claiming to be something you're not". I'm honest, my wheels are replicas. That's not posing by definition.

LOL... Singapore is darmn small, only around 50KM wide. There's no way you can hide in a town or whatever, compared to US or other large countries, and run away with it.

That's why with that money, we (or me) would rather buy a Porsche..

Same here, the C63 begins at about €100.000 EURO (empty without any package)

Netto price € 56.236 Euro
TAX € 10.685 Euro
BPM (another TAX) € 33.515 Euro

It's crazy that i paid more for my C180K than US people for their C63... just because we live somewhere diff. But we have to deal with it.....

That could probably be due to the fact that those US cars don't have any options AT ALL !! Don't know about NL but here in France , the C63 comes standard with all the availlable options except 19" , Carbon Package and PP. Everything else is included. A "base" C63 in France is 90k USD. Could be the same in many EU countries.

A Base C63 in France cost € 87.000 according to the france MB website, thats still about 131K USD in the US he cost 57.350 USD

I have seen the France MB website and MB France is doing it good, the C63 is complete from factory

In the Netherlands we pay more for:
Metallic paint € 1192,00
Leather € 3418,00
Command € 4547,00 (standard is the Audio20)
Rain Sensor for your wipers € 175,00
Intelligent light system € 1988,00
Alarm system € 636,00

So if i configurate the C63 in the Netherlands with these options you pay EURO 120.830

Looking good Cmann. Can I ask where you got the kit from and can you provide the link. Parked next to a white C63 the other day and it got me thinking real hard.

not concern bout sound and performance. juz goin for styling, i dont drive fast anymore.
You may want to check out putting the extra right side exhaust on. If you look at the resonator there is a cap on the right side that looks like it just unbolts to allow the second exhaust.

You would have more than 10 Merc dealers in US where such small states/countries do no allow more than one dealer. So the only option is to pay them hefty amounts for a basic level vehicle even. On above, you are never allowed to import a new car from any part of the world because of the exclusive contract of the dealer with governemnt authorites. And most of the time these dealers give share to the Govt authorities on annual sales figure.

The only way left is buy a new car in USA/Canada, drive it for 1 weak or so and sell it on a second person as a used or second hand car. A car driven 500 miles and tagged as used can be imported.

Let me give you Dubai pricing of these vehicles with the options they offer;

C200K- USD 40k to 60k (NO MM Pkg, NO Memory seating, MB Tex only)
C63- USD 99k to 140K (NO MM Pkg, NO Memory seating, MB Tex only)
