Ditto - on the one hand, I like the concept of the black carrying down the pano to the trunk ... on the other hand ... starting to look like a cab or cop car ... cooler, but starting to ...

Not quite sure. The chrome needs to be painted, and the AMG badge needs to go as it is NOT a C63. I think it would look better if the tails weren't tinted either. Other than that, it could work.

Those wheels looks good. Are there any more pics from where you found this?

Thanks for posting the pic. I was actually thinking of doing this down the line when I get bored with the car. After seeing the pic, though, I've realized that I don't want to do this. It looks a lot worse than it does in my head. Maybe carbon fiber trunk would look better? Any thoughts?

that is a good look.... but not for this car.

something about the size of the panels on this car that don't make that look work right on this car. i think the black should stay window level and up.

what would look hawt though is some white wheels on white car. i am pondering pc'ing my wheels white but not sure yet.

+1 I've been thinking of painting/pc'ing my AMG 18"s white. There's a white CLS in my area with gloss white painted AMG 19". That car looks pretty nice, but I dunno how it'd be on the W204.

You should do it and post pics! Let's check it out.

Looks like someone got into a wreck and grabbed a "clean" trunk lid from a junker, and didn't bother to paint it to match. I see a lot of cars like that, say a green car with blue doors on one side, or a black truck with a red hood, etc.

Black car

That trunk would look AMAZING on a black 204 with pano with a carbon hood as well IMO

Ive seen these 19's on a white c300 in south beach and it looked extremely clean. I havent found any pics with them on a c class yet though, but here they are on a cls.

You have to remember that this is a luxury car...don't confuse it w/ Japanese rice rockets.

Well quasi or entry-level lux anyways.

As for the pic, doesn't do anything for me. I think that styling is more popular in Europe.

how come you guys don't like the AMG badge on the trunk? Just like people putting brabus or Carlsoon badge for having the body kit, we do have the authentic AMG style body kit. I think it will look nice and even up the C300 or C350 on the other side of the trunk.
I am actually not against putting AMG badge as long as you have the AMG sport model and not put C63 on the other side.

no engine, no badge. That's my feelings. But it's your car to do whatever you want with it.

um.......... so if you put a Brabus or Carlsson kit on your car, you would take all the decals and badges off the body kit?

basically shows how youth aimed this car is...
I have no hate in the JDM mod community but Mercs look best clean cut.

Im all for de-chroming the car
but IMO that black paint job to the back look hideous.
there shouldn't be any carbon fiber anything on this car unless its a race format car built from the ground up.

So, should every single C300 or C350 have AMG badge then?

AMG is in house. Rules apply differently. If your VIN can't get you into the AMG Private Lounge site, then you're an AMG poseur.
