That's what I did. Let them make the profit and that will enhance the rapport you have with them. As the other poster wrote, they have to honor any MB warranty but there are always the little things for you to consider that they might not have to do.

I would also question the statement regarding how glad they are to do warranty work. MB pays them a lower per hour labor rate and less markup for parts (at least at my dealer) than we pay for non-warranty work.

they should , it still bussiness and it is also a bridge to keep that customer to the same dealership for service or sales

You are not entirely correct. Warranty parts are provided by MB. If any parts come from dealer stock they are reimbursed at their cost, not retail.
