Out in the wilderness with my car :)

So just came back from a week vacation in cottage country.
Decided I'd go exploring and try to get lost in all the back dirt
roads and see if the Nav could get me back. Surprisingly,
nearly every dirt road was in the Nav system. even the small
100ft dead end turns off the path.

I passed by a pit-quarry-excavation site and decided to lightly test out the 4Matic system

Took a bunch of pics... here's the best ones.

Enjoy

Notice the bullet holes in the sign.

FYI.... those are not my tire tracks up the dirt wall..... although it could pass as though i drove up it!!

Had a blast! Nothing but fun with this car. Everything positive to say.

I think I'm still in the "rub car down with diaper" phase of ownership so won't be taking it anywhere like that yet :p

Amazing pics. You don't really see that car offroading too often.
I'd have to say the C does well on dirt roads...took it to Northern MI the second week I had it.

Wow great pics
I'd be scared to get stuck/bottom out because of the low ride. Looks like you got pretty close looking at the dirt on the front spoiler.
First thing that came to my mind looking at the pic of the sign with the shotgun holes was Deliverance

I was very careful..... that dirt was from a loose pile of sand... no damage on the car at all. Just a bit dirty as you can see.

Sounds like some fun times! As others have noted, however, I'm still a bit weary about any roads with loose dirt and rocks. Later, maybe, when I've given up all hope about keeping the paint pristine. I can't wait until I don't care about the paint at all. Then I can really take the car out to some dirt roads and go crazy. Rally style.

I've already gotten quite a few rockchips from highway driving and a few scratches on the driver's side door from an egg thrown by some jealous idiot. HATE HATE HATE KILL KILL KILL DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if anyone on the forum here is from Phoenix, but I HAD a picture of my car completely inundated up to the passenger side window in water. There was a monsoon style rainstorm and one of the highway's water pumps broke down causing the sunken highway to flood over. Long story short I had water up to my window while driving my c to higher ground. Needless to say I was ****ting bricks thinking my barely a month old baby was going to give out on me. Much to my surprise and delight, I brought it to the merc dealer here to see if everything was ok and he said he couldn't tell that the car had driven through a flood. I had the picture on my old camera phone but have since gotten rid of it and forgot to save the picture. Scary times though.

FYI : Your car isn't 4 off roading. You should have bought a FJ cruiser.

FJ Cruisers are definitely cool looking, but overpriced for the function that you get. My gf really wanted me to get it (before the W204) so I looked into it a bit. No good.
